HTC HD2 refuse to Die with the support of CynogenMod



The HTC HD2 Mobile launched in 2009 with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional but the misfortune of not getting updated to Windows phone 7 even though it had more than capable hardware at the time. However, thanks to the efforts of the hacker community, the devices is still alive and kicking with latest versions of numerous operating system such as Android Marshmallow, like IPhone4s which is still alive and experience ios9 Apple's new OS.

In past some of the other operating systems were ported to the HD2 includes Windows Phone 7, Windows Phone 8, Windows RT and Firefox OS, as well as Android versions 2.2 Froyo, 2.3 Gingerbread, 4.04 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4.1 to 4.3 Jelly Bean and 4.4 KitKat. 

After 4.4 KitKat receive and just under a year sice Lollipop was ported to the mighty HD2 with most features working and now the folks ata XDA-Developers have managed to do the same with Android'd Latest version. Marshmallow is yet to reach many of the currently supported Smartphones.

But, when Marshmallow update to the HTC HD2 some bugs are present because of feature not compatible but, HD2 Marshmallow port based on CyanogenMod 13 isn't feature complete and only the display, Wi-Fi, and audio are usable but there is no word to access a cellular network anytimes soon, so the build isn't very useful for now.
